At Our Better World, our mission is to tell stories to inspire action. We find stories of people doing good across Asia, produce videos of these stories, then amplify their reach online to encourage people to contribute to the good work.Towards that end, we organised the Good Story Competition in 2014, where filmmakers representing 27 nationalities told 132 stories about various causes across 18 Asian countries. How has your work made an impact on an individual or group of people? Who’s the one person that convinces you that your work’s worthwhile? (If you’re not in any of the five countries listed above but you’re interested to pitch your story to us, please submit an entry anyway. We’re always looking for good stories throughout Asia and we’d love to hear from you.) The pitch will be conducted in a round robin, “speed-dating” style where you get to pitch your story - one-on-one and face-to-face - to filmmakers and team Our Better World. The filmmakers and team Our Better World will select the three most promising stories in each venue.if more than one filmmaker is keen to tell your story, there will be a reverse pitch, where the filmmakers try to convince you that they are the best storyteller for your cause.
