The premise is quite promising with its formula, especially with veteran SG-1/SG-A writers at the helm of the show.
The premise though reminds feels a little bit like Firefly and a little bit weirdly enough, a bit like Defiance(though subject to change after 1st episode).
One of the MAJOR concerns is that this show is featured on SYFY and as many of us know, the network has been known to low ball budget shows and hinder some of the potential of otherwise great shows and writers.
